REAL LAVA LAMPS.

TODAY WE ARE GOING TO DO A LAVA LAMP, THIS LAMP IT´S EASY TO DO AND FASTER, YOU CAN FIND THE INGREDIENTS IN YOUR HOUSE.

FOR THE EXPERIMENT YOU NEED:

1. a plastic bottle with 1/4 with water.
2. add some vegetable oil.
3. add food coloring .
4. put 2 or 3 Alka-Seltzer (or other tablets that fizz).
5. and see what happen.

 

  WHAT HAPPEN?

when we put alka-seltzer in water, makes blubbles and we know that water with oil never are going to mix and the bubbles that the tablets created, go up and there are going to dissapear, the water go down and it continue depending how much tablets of alka-seltzer we have put.
